WINE
Syrah 2020
An excellent example of a fresh, complex Syrah. Grapes were harvested at optimal ripeness of 26 °Balling resulting in full flavour extraction.
After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation, the wine was aged in fourth filled French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
With limited oak extraction, aroma’s of red and black fruit are prominent with a hint of green peppercorns.
Individually bottled, labelled and waxed by hand. Ready to drink or to be cellared until 2028.
Pinot Noir 2020
A fresh style Pinot Noir with a deep pink colour. The grapes were harvested from the Keisie Valley in the Klein Karoo at a lower sugar concentration of 21 °Balling resulting in a lower alcohol content of 12 percent.
The grapes were handled delicately during the colder fermentation process to create an easy drinking wine. Aroma’s of unripe strawberries and rose petals are present. Enjoy chilled or with ice.
Merlot 2020
Grapes of this Merlot were harvested at a higher sugar concentration of 24 °Balling resulting in a fuller bodied wine with an alcohol content of 14 percent.
After alcoholic and malolactic fermentation the wine was aged in old French oak barrels for a period of 12 months.
The wine is fruity with aromas of cherries, plum and blackcurrant.
Individually bottled, labelled and waxed by hand. Ready to drink or to be cellared until 2025.
Lady Mary Sauvignon Blanc
The Sauvignon blanc has an aroma of freshly cut grass combined with subtle notes of lemongrass, lime, green apple and banana. The tropical palate is perfectly balanced with minerals to leave a lasting and enjoyable finish.
